Playing together like a musician in a unique jazz band for the best audience ever: you have the skills, you have your own special sound and you know that performing together is much stronger than just playing alone. Sometimes you are the sideman – backing up others to make them sound better – and moments later you are standing in the spotlight for a powerful solo.Backstage you are developing new ideas, tuning your instrument, composing new songs, maintaining the equipment, promoting the band and negotiating about the next concert, pay or tour.After the set you are chatting with the audience to understand how they tick.Christof Zürn
